Lacing Toys from Guidecraft

Developing essential and cognitive skills like hand-eye coordination and visualization is important to enforcing at a young age. That is one of the main reasons we love these lacing toys from Guidecraft. We received the Beehive Lacing toy as well as the Count & Lace Fruit toy. The Beehive Lacing toy  is a solid rubberwood beehive with holes and includes three multi-colored lacing “bees”. This set encourages children to lace the bees in and out of the beehive reinforcing fine-motor skills. Suggested for ages three and up, this beehive set is perfect for keeping tiny hands (and eyes) busy. Although both of these lacing toys were a hit, the Count & Lace Fruit toy was my daughter’s favorite. The Count & Lace Fruit toy provides eight different types of fruit to lace, two long “caterpillar” laces, and ten activity cards. This set encourages fine-motor skills, pattern-matching, counting, and sequencing skills. The ten activity cards show fruit patterns which the children have to recreate.  After she completed all ten activity cards, we had a blast making up patterns of our own! If you are a parent, teacher, or caregiver looking for fun learning toys then these lacing toys are a must-have!
