My daughter is OBSESSED with the moon and the stars, but she is too small for an adult sized telescope. This My First Telescope from Educational Insights is absolutely perfect for all future astronomers! Designed for ages 4-6, this telescope has an adjustable tripod which is perfect for table-top viewings. It also has two large comfy eyepieces which have 10X magnification, built-in diagonal mirrors, and a lens cap. It is as close to a real telescope as we could possibly get! Although my daughter is only two, this telescope was extremely easy for her to use. Since it is focus-free, she didn’t need to adjust anything before looking into it. It is also EXTREMELY lightweight, so she is able to carry it and move it all on her own. I was extremely impressed with the quality of this telescope. I assumed it would be cheaply made since it is for young kids, however it is extremely sturdy. My daughter has dropped it quite a few times and it has not broke or shattered. My mini astronomer is completely fascinated with this new toy and I believe she will use it for many years to come!
