Potty Training with Illumibowl

We are currently in the process of potty training my daughter. This means lots of late-night trips to the bathroom. Wether she goes alone or asks for help, we try to be as quiet as possible so that we don’t wake the rest of the house. Illumibowl has really come in handy for us! Instead of turning on the bathroom light and waking the household, Illumibowl lights up the toilet bowl allowing my daughter to easily see where she is going.  Using Illumibowl is very easy. All I had to do was add batteries, select my color(s), and stick it to the side of my toilet! Whenever the lights go out, Illumibowl lights up!

I must admit, I was a bit skeptical about considering this as a Potty Training aid. However,  my daughter has started requesting to use the potty more often because she knows it will glow pink! Even in the middle of the day she will request that we turn the lights off so that we can see her pink potty!  Another thing I was skeptical about, was touching the Illumibowl again once the batteries die (gross)! Much to my surprise the Illumibowl doesn’t hang down low enough to get dirty! It sits right at the top of the toilet without ever touching the toilet water (or other things that go into the toilet).  I haven’t had any issues with the Illumibowl sliding or falling off the side. So far this has been quite successful in our home.
