My daughter recently had her second dentist appointment, and unfortunatly this one didn’t go as smooth as her first one. The dentist informed me that even though we brush her teeth everyday, Kinsley had a small cavity forming on one of her front teeth. I immediately purchased some floss picks and upped her brushes to three times a day, but I wanted to go a step further and find another way for Kinsley’s mouth to stay healthy. That’s when I discovered Zollipops! Invented by 11 year old Alina Morse, Zollipops are lollipops that are meant to reduce tooth decay, stop dry mouth, and create a healthier mouth overall! Not only are Zollipops sugar free, gluten free, vegan and kosher, but they are also packed with Xylitol, Erythritol, Stevia and other natural ingredients. Zollipops work by balancing the pH levels in our mouths which helps control bacteria. After learning a bit about Zollipops, I knew I had to get some for Kinsley! I mean, if it can help prevent her cavities from forming it was worth a shot! Of course these were immidiatly a huge hit! A sucker for breakfast? HECK YEAH! Kinsley absolutely loved the flavors (strawberry, orange, grape, pineapple, raspberry and cherry) and was extremely happy to get a sucker after each meal (the package says she can have up to 3 a day). We made it a fun routine so that Kinsley was more excited about taking care of her teeth. Eat, brush, sucker, repeat! I can’t wait for her next dentist appointment to see if Zollipops have helped to stop Kinsley’s forming cavity in its tracks! Such a genius product that kids of all ages can benefit from!

That is amazing! Proud parents I bet of the inventor; that is so amazing at 11! I am very lucky that none of my kids (including myself) have not had cavities yet. My youngest son is 7 1/2 and hasn’t lost any baby teeth yet; I have strong teeth and they are definitely taking after me in that area. My just be swapping out their pops though 😉

Boy, did I need these when I was this age! I still can’t get over that they were developed by an 11-year-old. Shoot, I was probably still playing with dolls at that age and I definitely didn’t know a single thing about the pH of my mouth lol

I have not heard of these before, will keep an eye out for them. Neither of my children like brushing their teeth, and cavities are something that I am concerned about – they both have sensory issues.

Wow almost makes me wish my kid likes sweets, but he is healthier than me and doesn’t like sweets. Go figure.

How neat. I have never heard of these before. I’m amazed these were invented by an 11 year old.

Don’t ever tell her they are healthy, she may not like or eat them. lol. We didn’t have stuff like this when my kids were younger, but with regular checkups, no soda or koolaid and watered down juice they made it through with very few cavities.

These are pretty cool! I wonder how you keep kids from confusing this with other candy though – candy that DOESN’T foster a healthy mouth?
