Count Your Chickens from Peaceable Kingdom

Count Your Chickens from Peaceable Kingdom has quickly become one of our favorite family board games! In Count Your Chickens the baby chickens have gotten out of their coop! Players must help the mother hen collect all of her baby chicks and bring them back to their home. Spin the spinner, count the number of spaces, and collect that number of chickens. If you land on the fox, one of the chicks will end up back in the yard! Since this is a family game, EVERYONE WINS! Families must work as a team to return all of their chicks back to the coop. This game includes one game board, one mother hen, fourty baby chicks, one spinner, and a player’s guide. We have lots of fun playing this as a family. Each person takes turns spinning the spinner, and my daughter LOVES to help count the spaces and collect the chickens! This game is made for 3+, but my two year old daughter was able to easily grasp the concept. This game reinforces taking turns, social development, and cooperation skills. This game took us about twenty minutes to play and we enjoyed every minute of it. It was so much fun to see the kids’ expressions when the fox took a chick out of the coop! Such a huge hit!
