We entertain in our home often, which means we are always pulling out the speakers and trying to hide all of the extra wires. When I found these Sengled Pulse speakers online, I thought they were too good to be true. A JBL® Bluetooth® speaker system built into a light bulb with no wires and no plugs? No way! I ordered the Sengled Pulse starter kit which comes with a Pulse Master bulb and a Pulse Satellite bulb. The master bulb is what connects via Bluetooth to a smart device while the satellite bulb connects to the master bulb to amplify sound. This starter set came in red, silver, and white options but I chose to go with the silver. 
When I got my Sengled pulse set in the mail, I was extremely eager to hook them up. Much to my surprise, there really weren’t ANY plugs or wires. I simply screwed them into a standard light socket, turned the light socket on, and BAM they were ready to connect to my smartphone! I downloaded the Sengled app onto my phone, paired my devices via bluetooth, and immidiatly started listening to my favorite songs! The sound was crystal clear and wasn’t all staticy like some of my regular bluetooth speakers. What I found really cool, is that since my TVs have bluetooth I can hook them up to my Sengled bulbs for instant surround sound! 
Using the Sengled app (available on iTunes and Google Play), I was able to control the brightness of the Sengled bulbs as well as the volume. I really loved that I have the option to use the lights without sound as well as the sound without lights! Since my phone was connected via bluetooth, I was able to walk around with my phone and control the volume/brightness from anywhere in the house. 
I can’t wait to add onto my starter kit with some additional satellite bulbs and maybe even a pulse amp! Our next gathering will be a hit with our out-of-sight surround sound speaker system! Such a genius product!

What!? This is such a cool design and concept. This is the first I have seen it. Makes a lot of since though to build it into something that hangs overhead and has no need for wires. Technology is so cool.
