Finding a game easy enough for my daughter to play has been quite a task, however Hoot Owl Hoot is one of the very few she can easily play. In Hoot Owl Hoot, players must help the owls fly back to their nest before the sun comes up. Each player must draw a card, and complete the action. Draw a color card and your own can fly to that space, draw a sun card and you’re one step closer to daylight. Once your sun token reaches the end of the line, it is daytime! Hoot Owl Hoot comes with a game board, six owl tokens, one sun token, fourteen sun cards, thirty six color cards, and a player’s guide. My daughter had so much fun playing this game. The concept was very easy for her to understand and she was able to play without any assistance. Everything was color coded and the instructions were very clear. This is a fantastic game for kids of all ages. It reinforces color matching, simple strategy, social development, and other important skills. No wonder this game has won so many awards!

I have been looking for board games for my daughter who is 4. As you said finding the right hand is a big challenge… If not it might have a negative impact on their interest, confidence and everything. I always love to know the opinion of a mom as they would have a better understanding of how it actually is when you introduce something new to the kids. The review was very helpful. It’s good to have a have which is easy to understand and fun to play to give a sense of accomplishment and also learn a lot more while they are playing. Thank you!
