This February, Shout!Kids in collaboration with Hasbro Studios is releasing a few new adorable children’s DVDs. Among these DVDs are Transformers Rescue Bots: Protect and Explore, My Little Pony Friendship Magic: Exploring The Crystal Empire, and Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Stars. My daughter and I had the exciting chance to get a first look at these family-friendly cartoons!
First up on the agenda was Littlest Pet Shop: Pet Stars (per my daughter’s request)! My daughter has always been a huge Littlest Pet Shop fan, so it was no surprise that she wanted to watch this DVD first. This DVD included five different episodes all of which my daughter absolutely loved! They were all extremely fun and upbeat, keeping my daughter interested the entire time!

Next up for our movie night, was Transformers Rescue Bots: Protect and Explore. My daughter regularly watches Transformers Rescue Bots with her cousins, so she was really excited to pop this DVD in! These episodes were very fast pace and my daughter was excited to see how the Bots would solve the problem! Before I knew it she was talking to the TV and helping them on their adventures.
DVD Excerpt: When a mysterious iceberg is spotted off the coast of Griffin Rock, it brings both danger and the interest of an old nemesis. On a nature hike, the Rescue Bots team will have to battle escaped snakes. And when the Burns family is stranded at sea by a swarm of jellyfish, the Bots must control miniature souvenir replicas of themselves. Last, but definitely not least was My Little Pony Friendship Is Magical: Exploring The Crystal Empire. We are huge My Little Pony fans, so I was extremely excited about this DVD in particular. These episodes were adorable and funny as usual. I like that most My Little Pony episodes, this one being no exception, teaches great lessons in making friends and being kind.
