Eric Carle-The Very Hungry Caterpillar Line from Kids Preferred

We all remember growing up reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. It is an all-time classic children’s book. Recently Kids Preferred released some ADORABLE Eric Carle The Very Hungry Caterpillar themed products, and they have been a huge hit! I couldn’t wait to get my hands on some of these adorable product! I received a World of Eric Carle Developmental Jiggle Caterpillar, a World of Eric Carle Very Hungry Caterpillar Blanket, a World of Eric Carle Very Hungry Caterpillar Gel Soother, a World of Eric Carle Very Hungry Caterpillar Activity Gym, and a World of Eric Carle Very Hungry Caterpillar Imagination Station.

Developmental Jiggle Caterpillar–  This toy is a 12 inch high pull toy that bounces and jiggles as he collapses. On one end of this toy there is a teether toy and the other features a velcro attachment. This toy can be played with alone or attached to the side of a crib, car seat, or activity gym. It is the perfect size for little hands! This little caterpillar toy vibrates when pulled and makes a soft jingle sound when shaken. In my opinion, this toy is suitable for ages 3 months and up.

Blanket– This little security blanket is 14 x 14 and has an adorable plush caterpillar at the top. The underside features soft satin lining and the antennas feel similar to terry cloth. The different materials make this security blanket perfect for younger children. It is very thin and perfect for tiny hands to grab onto. As a mother, I love how easily this blanket is to wash since it is machine washable. In my opinion, this blanket is suitable for ages newborn and up.

Gel Soother–  This is easily one of the most adorable gel soothers I have ever seen. This soother has a silicone handle and a plastic caterpillar head at the very top. It is BPA free, so I don’t have to worry about the baby chewing on it. When chilled in ice water (do not freeze this toy), this makes the perfect teething toy for babies suffering from teething pain. In my opinion, this toy is suitable for 6 months and up.

Activity Gym– This was easily my favorite toy out of the collection. This activity gym features three ways to play which includes tummy time, back time, and sitting time. All of the toys (as well as the main top two pieces) are removable. Each toy on this activity gym serves a different purpose, which makes this gym perfect for learning shapes and colors, sounds and music, and coordination skills. The mobile included in this gym plays music and spins in a circle keeping baby’s full attention. There are also crinkle toys, mirror toys, and many more! My favorite feature on this gym is the large caterpillar pillow. The pillow is attached to the gym which makes it perfect for wiggling babies. This helps me so that I don’t have to keep adjusting. The pillow is also very large. It takes up half of the mat (around the side) which is even convenient for people with more than one child. In my opinion, this activity gym is perfect for newborn and up.

Imagination Station– This imagination station is absolutely perfect for busy babies! The suction cup bottom allowed me to stick it to almost any surface. I decided to stick it onto the highchair to keep the baby occupied while I fixed some baby food. The station is able to be tilted, pulled, and spun. It makes adorable little rattle noises when spun, which is perfect for keeping baby’s attention. I can even take the imagination station off of the suction cup and use it as a regular rattle! In my opinion, this toy is perfect for 6 months and up.
