Stuff Your Basket with Lush’s Easter Line

This Easter you should ask the Easter Bunny for the things you REALLy want: Lush products! Lush’s Easter line is finally out, and it features some adorable themed items such as Flopsy face wash jelly and Chick ‘N’ Mix Bath Bomb! I was extremely excited to get my hands on some of these amazing products and give them a try! I received three products from the Lush Easter line which included Wash Behind Your Ears shower gel, Golden Egg bath bomb melt, and Bunch Of Carrots bubble bar. IMG_2852

Wash Behind Your Ears- Shower Gel

To this day I had not had the pleasure of using a Lush shower gel, and boy was I missing out! This Wash Behind Your Ears shower gel was absolutely amazing! It was much thicker than I originally expected, but wasn’t  nearly as thick as the Lush shower jellies. When I first opened the container, I was greeted with a  nice fresh scent of  jasmine and rose oil. It was a very light floral scent, and wasn’t overpowering.  This particular shower gel is infused with carrot and is full of vitamins and antioxidants. This makes it perfect for nourishing the skin. After one use I could feel an immediate change in some of my problem areas (I sometimes suffer from dry skin).

Golden Egg-Bath Bomb Melt

This Golden Egg bath bomb melt was my favorite of the three products. It is a bath bomb and a bath melt all in one! All I had to do was drop it in the tub and watch it go to work! The Golden Egg smells exactly like Lush’s Honey I Washed The Kids soap which is a sweet caramel fragrance! I was a bit nervous about all of the gold glitter, however I found it to be perfect! Only the outside of the egg is coated with glitter which means my tub did not look like a glitter explosion!  Instead it was a more subtle sparkle which wasn’t too overwhelming.  By the end of the bath bomb melt my water was a nice golden yellow with a light shimmer. Since this bath bomb melt is made with cocoa butter and olive oil, I found that it left my skin extremely smooth! I also found that my skin was not covered in glitter, however it did have a nice little shimmer from some of the leftover glitter.

Bunch Of Carrots- Bubble Bar

My daughter was extremely excited to try out Bunch Of Carrots because she adores Lush’s bubble bars! Bubble Bars are used by running the bar under the water as you run your bath.  This bubble bar did not disappoint! I really loved that there were three separate pieces to this bar: purple, pink, and orange. As most Lush bubble bars, I was able to use a bit, then let it dry until I was ready to use it again. This particular set is good for 3-7 baths which is amazing! This bar gives off one of my favorite scents so far, which is a sweet fruity scent (perfect for spring)!  It also turned my water a cute pink tint which didn’t stain my tub or my skin.
