MiO Collection from The Manhattan Toy Company

The Manhattan Toy Company is known for years of amazing toys, but their MiO collection is by far one of my favorite collections. All MiO sets are hand painted with non-toxic water based finishes and all of their people sets have extremely soft beanbag-like bodies. This entire collection is so modern and colorful. Not only are they absolutely adorable, but they are 100% safe for all children 3+ (EN71 and CPSIA certified).  We received a MiO Outdoors set, as well as a MiO People set. It is safe to say they were a huge hit in our home. 

As soon as we received our MiO package, my daughter Kinsley was eager to rip open the box. Our outdoors set came with two tree-like figures, a blue boy figure, and a small yellow hammock. Our people set came with one pink girl figure as well as one blue boy figure. I really loved the size of these pieces, as none of them were too small for my daughter to hold. I also really loved how soft they were. The MiO people are a bit weighted, so Kinsley didn’t have any issues standing them up or placing them exactly where she wanted them. She previously had a small collection of miniature dolls from another company, but she was unable to bend them and make them sit. It is very easy to tell that these MiO people are made with smaller children in mind. I love that the two sets we received can match perfectly with any of the other MiO sets on The Manhattan Toy Company website. I can’t wait to purchase a small house and car so we can expand her small collection since these have quickly become her favorite things to play with.
