Fairy Tales Hair Care

I have always noticed Fairy Tales Hair Care products in our local pharmacy, but until recently I never had the chance to them. Fairy Tales Hair Care carries an extensive line of products that are free of harsh chemicals, pesticides, toxins, paraben and sulfates. I absolutely love using natural products on my daughter, so I was excited to finally try this famous brand. We had the chance to try their Rosemary Repel® Daily Shampoo as well as their Bug Bandit DEET-Free Bug Spray. To start, the Rosemary Repel Daily Shampoo smells amazing! This shampoo is a natural blend of organic Rosemary, Citronella, Tea Tree and Geranium oils which are proven to prevent lice. With my daughter starting school this year, I thought this was a definitely a necessity. This shampoo also has jojoba and chamomile oil which is perfect for hydrating and moisturizing the scalp. My daughter loved the smell of this shampoo, and I loved how silky smooth it left her hair! We can definitely use this to replace our daily shampoo. Living in Southern Louisiana, I decided to test out the Bug Bandit DEET-Free Bug Spray as well. Mosquitos are such a nuisance down south, and they are literally out from sun up, to sundown.  This bug spray is DEET free, non-toxic, and pesticide free which again made me feel comfortable using it on my daughter. Unlike other bug sprays, this spray did not have a harsh scent. It is made with lemon eucalyptus oil, soybean oil, cedar bark, citronella, peppermint and a rosemary blend. Soybean oil is proven to repel mosquitoes for 3.5 hours and lemon eucalyptus oil is a safer substitute to DEET (without the harmful chemicals). I loved how it didn’t leave any sticky residue on my daughter’s skin, and so far it has worked like a charm. Both of these products have gone above and beyond my expectations! I have no idea why I didn’t try this brand sooner, because I have definitely been missing out.  I can’t wait to try some of their other natural products such as their Tangle Tamers products!
