Lil’ Lemonade Stand-Off™ from Learning Resources

Today is National Lemonade Day! We are celebrating by playing the Lil’ Lemonade Stand-Off™ game from Learning Resources! The object of this game is to re-create the  designs on the flash cards from memory. This game comes with 10 Cups, 2 Lids, 20 Coins, 30 Order cards, and 4 Lemonade stands with tops. Although this game is made for children 4+, my three year old daughter was able to play along without any assistance. I loved watching my daughter play this because I could see her using her memory and recall skills. Since this can be up to a four player game, I loved watching her compete with her cousins! They wanted to see who could get the most correct, the fastest! Obviously the older kids did much better, however she quickly improved as the game went on!  Every time she would get a card correct, she would snatch up a coin and place it in her lemonade stand. This is such a cute alternative to those boring old flip-card games!

  1. Looks like a very cute game. My daughter would have loved this when she was younger. Now she actually makes a lemonade stand and does it to raise funds for charities.

  2. I learn something new everday. I also haven’t heard about the national lemonade day!

Anyway, the game sounds like a perfect mental exercise for kids. It helps them focus and become more observant and attentive to details while still being fun.

  3. I didn’t know there was a National Lemonade Day. The Lil’ Lemonade Stand-Off game from Learning Resources sounds like a perfect way to celebrate this day. I will have to share this with my niece for her kids. Thanks for sharing the information.

  4. My dad always tells me I beat him at the old memory card game for real when I was three, so I’m scared to play memory games with my son too soon and have him beat me! Maybe my dad and I can get this and have a rematch with each other. Lol.
