The Outback from Hamax

I am an extremely active mother, and I am always on-the-go. I know I can’t be alone when I say that I am tired of hauling around and storing so many different types of baby/toddler products. First I needed a stroller for trips around town, then I needed a jogging stroller so I could bring my daughter with me on walks, and I recently began the search for a bike trailer so my daughter could enjoy my afternoon bike rides. Not only was it frustrating, but it was exhausting. Thankfully I have finally found a product that is so versatile that it is the only product I will ever need to purchase again! The Outback from Hamax is a stroller, a jogging stroller, and a bike trailer all in one! Talk about life made simpler! When my Outback arrived, I was surprised to find that there was very little assembly needed. The Outback was folded in the box, so all I needed to do was pop it open and snap on the wheels. It took me less than five minutes to have the Outback up and ready to go! Everything snapped and locked into place very easily. I was immediately impressed with the design of the outback. To start, this product has an extremely large interior. The two seats are nicely padded and feature a well-constructed 5 point harness. The large UV protected windows (on both sides) as well as the front mesh material provide a perfect view for my daugher. The front mesh window is designed to keep the interior ventilated, but also has the option to be closed in to keep children protected from the weather. There is also a small sunshade at the top if needed as well as a clear top window so I can see my daughter while running. When not in use, the three front cover layers can be safely tucked away under a small pocket at the top of the window. One of my favorite details is the fairly large compartment in the back where I can place my purse, helmets, diaper bag, and other necessities. It is much more spacious than I would’ve initially imagined, so I was excited to see that I could tuck away multiple items.

The creators of the Outback went above and beyond to make sure it is as safe as possible. There are LED lights available in the front and the rear of the Outback, as well as reflectors on all four sides. I even have the option of placing a neon orange safety flag on the side closest to traffic. The creators even went a step beyond that adding quick release wheels and a parking brake.

I was beyond amazed at how smoothly the Outback rode. The large wheels and aerodynamic design allowed me to ride on several different terrains without any issues. Not once did I get stuck or have issues pushing. When used with the jogging wheel (jogging wheel sold separately)  I had the option of an additional break on the handlebar, a hand strap to make sure I didn’t lose control of the Outback, as well as an  adjustable suspension so that my daughter was comfortable at all times. The “Safe Connection Point” in the front of the Outback allows me to easily switch from a stroller to a jogger or a bike trailer. All I have to do is unlock the connection point, remove the current piece, then insert whichever other piece I need. The connection point will display a green field when mounted correctly and a red field will display when unlocked.

 Once we come back from our ride/run, I simply fold it back up and store it in my closet. It is EXTREMELY easy to unlock and fold up, so I wasn’t stuck fighting with it to make it close. I wish I would have learned about this product earlier, because it has made life so much easier! Three products in one means less hassle and less stress!
