Finding your toddler the perfect toy can be difficult. You want to find them something entertaining, but also something that will stimulate their brain growth. Playgro offers an extensive line of baby products that do just that! Playgro also offers products for all ages and stages of mental development. Although it was hard to narrow it down to just two, below are my two current favorite Playgro products for infant playtime.
Shape Sorting Flower Puzzle– The Shape Sorting Flower Puzzle is the perfect little toy for all kids 12 months and up! With this toy baby can sort, match, and stack the puzzle which encourages problem solving! There are 22 colorful shapes, so baby is sure to stay occupied mixing and matching all of the bright fun pieces. It was so fun to watch my nephew test out his trial and error skills while placing the pieces onto the little flower. He would take turns placing each individual piece until eventually one would fit. The pieces are perfect for small hands, but are large enough to not be considered a choking hazard.
Fun Friends Choo Choo Train –The silly musical Playgro Fun Friends Choo Choo Train is sure to keep your baby entertained for hours! When the train is pushed or pulled, the lights begin to flash to the beat of the music! This train features three removable characters that spin and encourage gross motor development. Depending on which animal is in the locomotive, the train makes different sounds! Since the train is able to move on its own, your baby will get a kick out of chasing it around the house! This toy is suitable for ages 12 months and up. Although this product is for older children, I gave this to my 6 month old nephew . We usually sit him in his little chair and press the buttons for him (supervised). He gets a huge kick out of all the lights and his eyes follow the train around the room!
