Bookcase Club: May

Our May Bookcase Club is short and sweet compared to past boxes. This month’s box featured a hardback copy of The Adventures of the Dish and the Spoon by Mini Grey, a hardback copy of Little Baby Buttercup by Linda Ashman, a paperback copy of Dusty to the Rescue by RH Disney and a paperback copy of Seeing Red by Sarah Stephens. The total approximate value of the books in this month’s box is $26.61. Compared to past boxes, I did feel like this one was a bit lacking. My daughter, however, would disagree. She loved seeing the two cartoon books inside, and those were the first two we sat down to read. She also loved the spin on “Hey diddle, diddle” in The Adventures of the Dish and Spoon. I have actually heard of Little Baby Buttercup before, and it was just as sweet as I had imagined. These four books were definitely hits nonetheless. Very age appropriate and perfect for my daughter.
