My Little Veterinarian Kit from Little Medical School

One of Kinsley’s favorite things to do is play dress up. Over the years we have gotten hundreds of offers to review dress-up clothing, however we have only accepted a select few.  When we got the chance to review the My Little Veterinarian Kit from Little Medical School, I knew we couldn’t pass it up! Little Medical School is a program dedicated to teaching children about health care professions such as doctors, nurses, veterinarians, and many more.  Using fun and educational tools, Little Medical School teaches children about medicine, science, and the importance of health. The My Little Veterinarian Kit from Little Medical School is a kit is filled with props and activities which allows children to experience veterinarian medicine up close and personal! Kinsley’s My Little Veterinarian Kit included a plush puppy, a puppy scarf, adoption paperwork, a workbook, a Veterinarian exam, a Veterinarian certificate, markers, a name badge, measuring tape, tick stickers, gloves, a medical coat, tweezers, and molding clay. After opening our kit, Kinsley couldn’t wait to start doing some of the fun activities. The first thing we did was fill out the adoption paperwork for our new dog “Cinderella”.  Once the adoption paperwork was filled out, Kinsley and I started reading over the Veterinarian Workbook which taught us a bunch of great animal facts! We learned about healthy dog snacks, how to measure the chest size perimeter and front leg length of a dog, how to perform a ‘Nose to Tail’ exam, as well as tick checking and tick removal. Once we went over the workbook a few times, Kinsley took her veterinarian exam. Of course Kinsley is only three, however I was surprised at how much information she retained from the workbook! She could accurately measure the chest size of our plush dog, as well as complete a ‘Nose to Tail’ exam! She was even able to tell me four things that a real dog should never eat! I loved how this My Little Veterinarian Kit from Little Medical School was not only a fun dress-up activity, but it actually taught my daughter basic knowledge about animals and veterinary science! I can’t wait for Kinsley to try out their other kits such as their Sports Medicine Kit! I know she will love it, and I can’t wait to see what other information she can learn!
