There was very little assembly required with this umbrella. All I had to do was screw the steel bottom frame together, then insert the umbrella into the base. It took me less than five minutes total. The crank allowed me to easily open and close the umbrella without any issues, and it was extremely easy to store. Although the umbrella was fairly lightweight (only 14 lbs), I was surprised at how sturdy it was. It didn’t tip over, even when it started to rain super hard! I was also surprised at how large this umbrella was. I know the description said 10′, however I guess I didn’t realize exactly how big that really was until I opened it up! It easily covered several people at once! I really loved the waterproof polyester material. The rain easily rolled right off of the top, and it did a great job of blocking the sun! This patio umbrella is going to make a great addition to our patio once we get it set up! We can use this for so many upcoming events!
