Trying to find games to keep my daughter occupied in the car can be a bit of a hassle. That’s why we always end up playing classic car games, which get old pretty quickly. Find It Games are not only great games for traveling, but they’re perfect for everyone in the family! Find It Games are “contained adventures” that are basically portable treasure hunts! I ordered the Captain Underpants (ages 6+) game for my nephew and the Sesame Street (ages 3-5) game for my daughter. I really loved that there were options for everyone in the family to have a theme they’d enjoy. When the games came in, I was surprised at how quickly the kids claimed them. I barely had enough time to get photos of the packaging! The Captain Underpants version has over 40 different items to find, and comes with several playing cards. Using the cards, my nephew can play alone, or with friends as a team. By simply shaking the container, the pieces inside move around making the find-it items appear. Since the Sesame Street version is for smaller children, the find it items are larger than the standard game. They are also repeated twice to make them easier to find. This version includes a ” Ways To Play” booklet for additional learning opportunities. Both of these games have been such a hit in our home, and 99% of the time they make their way into all of our road trips (even if we’re just headed to the store). They do a great job of keeping the kids occupied, and since they each have their own version there is no fighting! They even take turns swapping out themes! I can’t wait to see what themes they come out with in the future!

Those “find it” games do look kind of cool. It’s an object oriented version of I spy almost, where things shift in a bottle. I think that’s pretty cool. My daughter would have loved this when she was younger.
