I thought finding the best gift for my nephew was near impossible. He is starting to grow out of the younger kid stuff, but isn’t quite old enough for teen products. When his mother mentioned to me that he was interested in Lightseekers, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to give him this Lightseekers Starter Pack! This starter pack came with a Mari Smart Action Figure, Aquadart Crab Weapon, FusionCore minicomputer, 5 Augmented Reality Trading Cards, Unique Tribute Card, and mini USB charger. The Lightseeker app (Google Play and iTunes) was separate, but completely free. The app can be played alone, or enhanced with starter packs similar to this one! I must admit that I knew absolutely NOTHING about Lightseekers whenever I got this starter pack in the mail. After doing a bit of research, I realized that this is just the tip of a huge imaginary world of gameplay!
Inside of the game my nephew can play the basic gameplay or upload photos of his cards to expand his “world”. The cards inside of the starter pack can only be claimed once in the digital app, however the physical cards can be traded numerous times outside of the app. As the game progresses, my nephew can upgrade his equipment, level up, and gain new skills. Lightseekers is a nonstop game of epic action that my nephew can continue to play as he gets older. We plan on purchasing a few more packs to expand this gameplay even further!
