Fall weather is finally here which means I can pull out my sweatshirts and blue jeans! Cooler weather calls for warmer clothes, and prAna clothing definitely has me covered! prAna offers a wide variety of clothing for both men and women, and they are constantly adding new styles. This fall, I ordered a large Aya Sweater in “Gravel”, and a pair of size 12 Kara Jeans in “Denim”. I absolutely adore how prAna packages their clothing. The sweater came in a thin plastic bag, while the jeans came rolled up and tied with a cute little ribbon. I felt like I was opening up a cute little Christmas present!
The Aya Sweater was the first piece I decided to try on. This piece is made from a recycled wool blend, cable knit, and lined with sueded fleece at the cuff. The button sleeve really gave it a pop of fun. Although prAna offered a size guide, I did find that this sweater ran a bit small. If you are like me and like loose-fitting sweaters, I would suggest going a size up. The sweater did fit, however due to my personal preference I do wish I would have gone with the extra large. I contacted I really love the button sleeves and the woven details on the front and back of this sweater. It is fairly casual, but can easily be dressed up. The Kara Jean was definitely my favorite of the two pieces. This piece is made from organic cotton and soft stretch “kara” denim. It is a fitted pant, cut with a low rise, narrow leg, and 5 pocket styling. I traditionally wear a size 12 jean, and thankfully these Kara Jeans fit like a CHARM. I am a little on the short side (5’2″), so I did need to cuff the bottom a bit more. However, this is something I am used to so it was not an issue whatsoever. I can say that this pair of jeans has quickly become one of my favorites. Not only are they adorable, but they are so breathable! I don’t feel like I am being “contained” (I have large thighs), and I am able to bend/stretch easily! A bonus? My butt looks AMAZING in these! prAna clothing is making my fall shopping much easier by offering such adorable pieces like these! I can’t wait to expand my prAna wardrobe a bit more!
