This boombox features a real working microphone, built-in music, and a MP3 player connection. The second the boombox is turned on using the buttons along the top, the fun lights start flashing and the music is ready-to-go! Your child can sing along with the built in music, or store an MP3 device in the back compartment to play her own songs. This boombox is shaped like Harriet Handbag, which adds a ton of cuteness to the design. As a mother, I was a bit nervous about this boombox being way too loud. However, I didn’t have any issues with it whatsoever. The music is loud enough to hear and the microphone has a nice quality sound, however it wasn’t ear-piercing. It was perfect enough to keep the show tuned in to one bedroom. My daughter can rock out without bothering any of the other family members. I really love that they made sure to include a handle so that the kids can rock out while on-the-go, and we can take she show with us on the road! Such an adorable addition!
