Jump to the beat and move your feet! My family and I got to join our friends on Sesame Street for an all-new, interactive show! Sesame Street Live: Let’s Party! recently came to Baton Rouge, Louisiana and we were front and center to party alongside of our friends! We received four tickets to the 10:30am show on December 23rd. The Raising Canes River Center in Baton Rouge is one of our favorite venues, and we are all extremely familiar with the layout. This made it extremely easy for us to find a parking spot and head to our seats before the show started. Like most live shows, there were tons of souvenirs and refreshment booths set up outside of the venue, so we were able to gear up for the show before even heading inside!
We were absolutely blown away by our seats at this event. We had floor seats about 10 rows from the stage so we had an excellent view. I have never had floor seats to an event before, so I was a bit nervous before we got there. When the show started, the kids jumped to their feet. The lights and the music were so much fun that they couldn’t pass up the opportunity to dance. It was nice to see a lot of familiar faces from when I was a kid such as Elmo and the Cookie Monster.
The show lasts about 1.5 hours total, but offers a 15 intermission for snacks and potty breaks. I do think that is a bit long for younger children, however it was perfect for my three year old. By the time she show was over, my daughter Kinsley had danced her way straight into a nap! She was completely exhausted! The Sesame Street crew had partied with her until she couldn’t party any more! This was our first Sesame Street Live experience, but it definitely won’t be our last! We had so much fun!

Sounds like something the kids would love. They had something like that at the Sea World out here, but nothing quite so long. Was a fun Sesame Street show though. I can imagine the kids would have a blast.
