Cat’s Pride® Fresh & Light® : Litter for Good™ Program

Sponsored Post: This post is sponsored by Cat’s Pride but the content and opinions expressed here are my own.

Those of you who follow my blog regularly are familiar with my love of cats. Especially my two rescued furbabies Ellie and Binx. My boy Binx was rescued about three years ago when someone found him abandoned in a farm. Ellie was rescued less than a year ago when her mother no longer wanted to care for her. She was left outside full of fleas and tested positive for feline chlamydia (yes, that’s an actual thing). I have a soft heart when it comes to rescue animals in general, but the number of abandoned cats/kittens especially pulls at my heartstrings.  Now thanks to the Litter for Good™ program, I can help rescue cats like mine! Their logo is “Changing Litter for Good®” For every green jug of Cat’s Pride® I buy, they donate a pound to shelters in need. By 2020, Cat’s Pride® hopes to donate over 20 million pounds of litter to shelters across America! Whenever I heard about this program, I immediately went out and purchased a 10 lb jug of Cat’s Pride® Fresh & Light® Ultimate Care Scented Multi-Cat Litter from my local Walmart.  It was super easy to spot the bright green jug sitting next to the other cat litters.27783915_10214038053097974_1260852883_nThe Litter for Good™ program has already donated over 270,00 lbs this year, and over 4,456,167 lbs since 1995! It feels good to be a part of this movement by simply buying something that my rescue cats need anyway. It doesn’t cost me any extra, but definitely makes a difference to cats around the world. I even went a step further by signing up for the Cat’s Pride® Club to nominate my local shelter! By being a Cat’s Pride® Club member, I get access to coupons and special discounts throughout the year which is a great bonus.  If you’re a cat lover like me, the Cat’s Pride® Fresh & Light® : Litter for Good™ program is something you definitely don’t want to pass up. Think of the millions of cats that you will be helping while caring for your own furbabies!IMG_20180206_180351.jpgInterested in helping out shelter cats in your area? Go to CatsPride.com and sign up for the free Cat’s Pride® Club to nominate a shelter to receive litter donation. The Cat’s Pride Club offers valuable coupons and incentives throughout the year, as well as updates on the program donations and shelter highlights.

  1. I have had so many cats in the past and non of them were bought. I used to bring in ally cats and nurse them back to health. I’ll show this to my brother and his wife, they have THREE cats. Thanks for sharing!

  2. Our poor Siamese (Pishi’s her name) is an adopted one. My heart breaks to see her suffer from Panleukopenia. It’s like we’re just waiting for her to take her last breath just because her illness doesn’t have a cure yet. So, we decided to just bring her home. At least she’s at peace here at home rather than staying in the shelter.

  3. I can get on board with a company that donates some of their earnings to shelters! Too many animals live in shelters and it’s so disheartening!

  4. I have a cute little picky cat myself. I and she don’t always get along when comes to litter. I like one type and she likes another, and guess who wins? I have to see if we have this campaign here as well. I would love to help.
