Sometimes while making her birthday lists my daughter Kinsley will ask for things that are way out of her age range. Thankfully, an electric scooter is not one of those things! The second Kinsley spotted the Lil’ E Electric Scooter from Razor, she begged to have it. The Lil’ E Electric Scooter is made especially for children 3+. It has has a max weight capacity of 44 lbs which is about 5 years of age. My four year old daughter only weighs 33 lbs, so she will be able to ride this for quite some time. Since this scooter is made for younger children, it has a battery life of up to 60 minutes and only goes up to 2 miles per hour.
At first I thought this may be a little slow for my daughter, however it was perfect. It went fast enough for her to have fun, but was still slow enough not to cause too much damage if she fell. The button to power the scooter forward is located conveniently on the handlebar, which allowed my daughter to catch on extremely quickly. She was able to go and stop as she pleased, while the stability of three wheels prevented her from having any major wipeouts! The Lil’ E Electric Scooter is the perfect electric scooter for children who don’t quite have the balance to own a regular electric scooter. Once she is done playing in the afternoon, I simply plug it up and let it charge for the following day. It isn’t very large or bulky, so it easily fits inside in the corner of the room to charge (we don’t have outlets in the shed). This has been such a hit with my daughter since we opened it, and my 8 year old godchild begs to have a turn (he knows he’s way too big, but tries anyway). The Razor company has obviously gone out of their way to make sure children of all ages are included in the outdoor fun, and my four year old is more than thankful for her new Lil’ E Electric Scooter!
