We are ready for this month’s family game night with a huge new haul from Goliath Games! For July game night, we have a lot of games that focus on skill and concentration. Pop The Pig has always been a favorite in our family, however these new games are running a tight race! This game night was only a few adults with their smaller children (4-5 years old) so Goliath Games did a great job of sending us a few different products that are easily played by everyone in the family. My four year old daughter is obsessed with Barbecue Party, while Shark Bite is a fan favorite with the boys.
Build Or Boom- The big boss is looking for the best builders in town! Step in line and see who can be the first to bring the blueprint cards to life. Build your structure quickly yet carefully on your platform. Then SMASH your boomer to send your opponent’s structure tumbling. There’s only room for one builder in this town… do you have what it takes? Or will you get boomed on your way to the top? Build Or Boom is created for 2 players ages 4 and up. This game comes with 4 Boards, 4 Blocks, 4 Triangles, 4 Arches, 4 Cones, 4 I-Beams, 4 Barrels, 2 Builders, 30 Blueprint Cards, 2 Platforms, 2 Boomers, 2 Air Hoses and 1 Card Holder. See a Build Or Boom video on their YouTube channel.
Pop The Pig- Kids spin the spinner, pop a hamburger into the pig’s mouth and push down on his head. The more they pump, the more his belly grows until . . . pop! Kids love the suspense as they watch his belly grow; the player who makes his belly burst loses the game. Children can quickly reset this pig game with one pump of the pig’s head and experience consistent belly busting game-play each and every time. Pop the Pig provides hours of fun and is completely kid powered (no batteries needed). For added convenience, all pieces can be stored inside the pig. Kids won’t see a pop up pirate, but they will get to pop a pig. For ages 4 and up, 2-6 players. See a Pop The Pig video on their YouTube channel.
Barbecue Party- It’s Barbecue Party™, the BBQ game that decides if you’re a grill master or a dinner disaster! Choose your card to see what food you get to put onto the grill, but watch out–this baffling barbecue may jump, causing all the food to go flying off. This barbecue game with the goofy grill helps with hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, and it has an element of surprise that will make kids howl with laughter. The winner is the first player to get 3 items off the BBQ party grill before the food takes a spill. It makes a great party game for 2 or more players, ages 4 and up. This game comes with 1 Barbecue Grill, 1 Grilling Plate, 2 Chicken Drumsticks, 2 Hot Dogs, 2 Fish, 2 Broccoli, 2 Tomatoes, 2 Bell Peppers, 2 Cobs of Corn, 2 Mushrooms, 1 Pair of Tongs, 1 Sticker Sheet and 17 Cards. See a Barbecue Party video on their YouTube channel.
Shark Bite- Get ready to have a REEL-y good time when you play Shark Bite! Snag the fish and be the winner, but if the shark jumps, you’ll be his dinner! Place the fun and colorful sea creatures into the game unit with a snap, and grab your friends to start playing. Players take turns rolling the die and fishing for the sea creatures using the fishing rods. But watch out – you never know when the shark is going to bite! This battery-free game will have kids hooked at first bite! Shark Bite is made for 2-4 players, ages 4 and up. See a Shark Bite video on their YouTube channel.
Catch The Fox- Uh oh – the Fox is in the hen house! This greedy fox is snapping up the chickens and stuffing them into his pockets. But when there are too many chickens, his pants will fall down and the chickens will escape! Roll the die to see how many chickens to add into the fox’s pockets, and push his head one time. Before you know it, the fox will lose his pants and the chickens will roll everywhere! Rescue the chickens and return them to your chicken coop. Be the first player to fill up your coop to win! Can you Catch the Fox? Catch The Fox is made for 2-4 players ages 4 and up. See a Catch The Fox video on their YouTube channel.

What a fun round up of games for game night. My grandkids are obsessed with sharks after we watched a shark documentary so I know they would love Shark Bites. In fact, I think they would like all of these.
