We are super excited that this year SpongeBob SquarePants has his very own Halloween feature: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom! This adorable feature includes our favorite sea creatures in an awesome Halloween setting. What makes this feature so special is that it is done entirely in stop motion! Stop motion features are created by moving objects while filming frames. When all the frames are played in sequence it shows movement. My daughter and I loved how unique this episode looked all together. Of course the plot was fairly typical of SpongeBob SquarePants (he is oblivious to almost everything), but we were extremely excited to see the Flying Dutchman make a comeback in this feature! SpongeBob SquarePants: The Legend of Boo-Kini Bottom is great for all ages since it isn’t too scary. Kinsley and I really enjoyed this movie overall. 
DVD Synopsis: This terrifying tale tells the story of the Flying Dutchman coming to Bikini Bottom to make sure everyone in town is scared–especially SpongeBob, who seems to be unflappable in his belief that spooky things are actually funny.
