Stay Prepared with Rescue Guard Kits

When preparing for an emergency, there are basic things that everyone needs to have. Everyone runs out and grabs as much water and bread as they can get their hands on, but what else are you missing? Websites like Ready.gov and the Red Cross suggest preparing yourself with enough items to be self-sufficient for 3 days or 72 hours in case of a catastrophe. Are you and your family prepared? What if you don’t have time to stock up on food and water? Rescue Guard Emergency Kits take the stress out of preparing for an emergency by providing everything a family needs until help or rescue arrives. Those of us who have been personally affected by storms like Hurricane Harvey, know the importance of being able to grab basic supplies and bunker down. Not only are these kits good for preparing for known emergencies like hurricanes and floods, but they’re perfect for unexpected emergencies like an injury while hiking, or breaking down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere. Rescue Guard Kits come in three sizes which include basic, intermediate, and advanced. All three sizes provide necessary food, water, and shelter items as well as a first aid kit.  So exactly how prepared are you? If you and your family were left without cell service, electricity, and food/water at this very second, could you help your family until rescue arrived? Don’t second guess the importance of being prepared.

  1. These are great. My husband is always camping and hunting and I am so worried about him out there! This would make a great gift for him to take with him!

  2. I actually keep one of these in my car. Not this brand, but something similar. I think this brand has a bigger variety, so I think I will try this one out instead.
