Summer is finally here and the kids are FINALLY starting to spend more time outdoors. With everything going on, the kids are going absolutely stir crazy doing the same thing day in and day out. Keeping them entertained is definitely starting to become harder and harder! That’s why we decided to create our own DIY osbtacle course and have some fun with our new Razor scooter! Razor offers high quality ride ons for everyone in the family, at a price that won’t break your bank! My daughter just turned 6, so she’s used to using scooters with training wwheels.I decided to let her try her luck with a new two-wheel scooter. Since this was her first time using a scooter with only two wheels, I wanted to make the obsticale course easy for her to maneuver but still fun and challenging at the same time.
Our obsticale course included a chalk “road” as well as “roadblocks” which included random toys from around the house! At one point we even had oir dog chasing us through the course which made it 10x funnier! The course itself cost me absolutely no extra money to set up, took about 5 minutes to plan, and yielded hours of fun time! After only a few rounds on the course, my daughter felt super comfortable on two wheels and was flying past the rest of us! Eventually our obsticale course became a challenge between family members as we tried to see who could ride from one end of the driveway to the other the fastest!
If you’re looking for a way to keep your children occupied, a Razor obsticale course is a great and inexpensive idea! It’s also a great way to get the entire family out of the house and staying active in a time where we are mostly confined to our house!
