HearMuffs™: Advanced Hearing Protection for Infants & Toddlers

Living in South Louisiana, we tend to do a lot of “loud” activities. Hunting, football, monster truck rallies,  boat rides, and so many more things with our children. When I took my daughter to her first football game, I had such a hard time finding decent hearing protection gear that fit her properly. They were either way too big, or so small that they cut off circulation. My daughter missed out on a lot of fun activities due to this issue. That is why I was so excited to learn about HearMuffs™. HearMuffs™ are audiologist recommended hearing protection that protects little ears from potential cumulative damage! Not only that, but the patented GrowBand™ ensures that it will fit a wide range of head sizes! All of my problems solved!20170916_094550.jpg

After doing a bit of research, I noticed that there were several different HearMuffs™ on the market. Besides the standard HearMuffs™, there were also  HearMuffs™ Soothe and HearMuffs™ Sounds. I decided to check out the differences between the standard and the Sounds versions of this product. To start, the standard version offers all of the basic necessities that a hearing protection product should offer. By using state-of-the-art active noise compression, the standard HearMuffs™ eliminate harmful noises and are adjustable to fit a wide range of infant and toddler head sizes. HearMuffs™ are made from kid friendly materials for maximum comfort, so my daughter had absolutely no issues wearing these. If you’re looking for basic hearing protection, these are definitely the right fit! The HearMuffs™ Sounds version is much more advanced than the standard version. Along with the basic ear protection, comfort, and flexibility, the HearMuffs™ Sounds goes above and beyond making a child feel comfortable. HearMuffs™ Sounds offers four soothing sounds which include Lullaby,
Babbling Creek, White Noise & Heartbeat. These sounds would come in handy when trying to calm a baby or child down in public. I mean, who wouldn’t want a quick nap during halftime of the football game? HearMuffs™ Sounds is also specially engineered to let in certain sounds at a soft level. This means you can communicate with your child at the touch of a button! No need to take the HearMuffs™ off of their head every time you want to tell them something! I was amazed at this feature the most. Now that my daughter is a bit older, sometimes I need to take her hearing protection off to inform her of a potty-break or food run. Now, thanks to HearMuffs™ Sounds, all I have to do is press a button for her to hear me!PicMonkey Image.jpg

Although I do wish I would have found HearMuffs™ sooner, I am so glad I found them while my daughter is still young! We still do lots of loud activities, and I want her to stay as safe as possible! Now my daughter, Kinsley, can enjoy the football game without crying every time the band plays! The creators of HearMuffs™ have gone above and beyond while creating these products. They not only thought about a child’s safety, but went a step further to include things that would make them comfortable at the same time. I can’t even put into words how impressed I am with this product.

  2. Cool gadget! My daughter loves loud music but yeah it may cause some damage to her hearing. I hope HearMuffs will be available here in the Philippines.

  3. I have been looking into hearing protection for my kids. We don’t do a ton of loud activities but I would like to take them to concerts every now and then. Plus keep them calmer during the Fourth of July. Thank you for sharing.
