One of my daughter’s favorite activities, are puzzles and problem-solving games. Taking things apart and putting them back together can keep her occupied for hours. That is exactly why I couldn’t pass up this adorable “My First Animal Train” set from SmartMax. This set includes 25 pieces total, and can actually work with all other SmartMax sets. Since this set is made for children 18 months to 5 years, the pieces are fairly large and there is no possible choking hazards. As soon as I opened the box, my daughter immediately starting sticking magnets together and creating her own little animal train. She would mix and match the pieces creating fun little animals, while also placing the train in different color patterns. The animals and the train simply “click” onto the oversized magnet bars, which makes it easy for my daughter to create her train all by herself. Once my daughter Kinsley would get her train exactly how she liked it, she could easily scoot the train around the house. This is such a cute way to introduce magnetic discovery and puzzle solving skills! Kinsley absolutely loves it, so I plan on purchasing a few more SmartMax sets for her to mix and match her designs!
