Monster Jam 2018: Raising Cane’s River Center

We’re back with more Monster Jam excitement, and this time we attended the fun at the Raising Cane’s River Center in Baton Rouge! This is the second time we get to attend Monster Jam at the River Center since we attended the Triple Threat Series last year. The Raising Cane’s River center is much smaller than the Superdome, which is where we attended our last Monster Jam show, however we knew it would still be an action-packed afternoon! This was our very first time getting Monster Jam Pit Passes, so we couldn’t wait to attend! The Monster Jam Pit Party allows guests to meet the drivers, get their autographs, take photos and see the trucks up close. Pit Party access requires both a pit pass and same day afternoon event ticket to enter. We arrived about two hours before the show so that we could walk around and meet all of the awesome drivers! We got to see some of our favorite trucks like Grave Digger, Slinger, Raminator, and Double Trouble.PicMonkey Collage.jpgAfter the Pit Party was over we were thrilled to see some of our favorite souvenir stands selling ear protection, toys, shirts and much more! Since it was still fairly early, we decided to shop and grab food before the show began. Each kid got a snack and of course we couldn’t pass up the adorable Monster Jam cotton candy!PicMonkey Collage.jpgThe River Center is easily one of our favorite event venues, and there are never any “bad seats”! This time we had seats 6-10 in section 220.  As usual, I thought these seats were AWESOME! We were up close and personal with the action! Since we have already attended Monster Jam in the River Center before, we already knew what to expect as far as crowd and noise levels. Once again, we were not disappointed.20180407_123553.jpgAs the show started, the kids were thrilled to see the trucks from earlier in the day! Each time a truck would come out the kids would yell “HEY! WE GOT TO MEET THEM!”  As always, the kids couldn’t keep their eyes off of the trucks! They were so into the show! I mean, who could blame them? We can go to every single Monster Jam show, and no show would ever be the same! I love that you never know what to expect! At this Monster Jam, I thought there was a lot more tricks than I usually get to see, as well as a lot more smashing! We were far from disappointed!PicMonkey Collage.jpgLearn more about the Monster Jam trucks and drivers
