As a mom on-the-go, eating healthy is nearly impossible. From the minute I wake up to the minute my daughter goes to sleep, I never stop. This new year, I decided to make a resolution to eat healthier. No more Starbucks stops in the morning before work, and definitely no quick dinners from from big fast food chains. I have to admit that I knew it was going to be extremely hard for me to cut out all of these unhealthy habits, but I was determined to get on the right path. I needed something that would make healthy eating easier; in comes Happy Healthy. Happy Healthy is a new brand committed to creating a happier, healthier world by making it super easy for people to eat super healthy. With Happy Healthy I was able to get healthy (and tasty) pre-portioned meals such as overnight oats, acai bowls, and smoothies sent straight to my door! Their recipes are non-GMO, and contain no added flavors, colors, or preservatives! Ingredients are flash-frozen straight from the Happy Healthy farm to ensure they’re fresh and delicious. By freezing their produce, Happy Healthy helps lock in all of the nutrients and flavor while also helping to prevent excess food waste!Up until recently these products were only available at select retailers across the country, but now customers can do all of their shopping online! Customers can customize a 6-pack of products each month or simply test out products one by one. To start your subscription, simply click “Build Your Box” at the top of the Happy Healthy website, choose the products you want and the delivery frequency, checkout, and you’re done. You can pause, edit, or cancel your box at any time. Subscriptions are automated, however you can log in to the Happy Healthy website each month and choose new flavors, or stick with your favorites!
Happy Healthy meals are extremely easy to put together. Simply remove the product from your freezer and thaw in the fridge overnight. Acai bowls are ready to eat straight from the container (no microwaving needed), however overnight oats and smoothies require your favorite liquid. I personally love adding almond milk to my meals to keep the texture and flavor absolutely perfect. Each meal has a “best by” date printed on them, so meals customers know exactly how long their products will stay fresh. Once thawed, most meals can last 24 hours in the refrigerator. For my first order, I received three smoothies, two overnight oats, and one Acai bowl. Of the three smoothies I received (Tropical Green Tea, Refreshing Blend, and Indulgent Blend), the Indulgent Blend with apples, bananas, beets, pineapples, and cacao was my favorite. It was the perfect amount to fill me up until lunch and was packed with flavor! The smoothies are perfect for on-the-go and even feature a straw opening in the top of the container. The overnight bowls (I am a sucker for the dragon fruit berry blend) is also super convent since all I need to do is let them soak in milk (or other liquid) overnight. I have personally never tried an Acai bowl before, but I am so glad I got one with this shipment! It was so refreshing and like the other options it was packed with fresh flavor! I can’t wait to mix up my flavors on my next shipment to see what else I fall in love with!
