My five year old daughter, Kinsley, is absolutely obsessed with JoJo Siwa. Whenever I scored tickets to the JoJo Siwa D.R.E.A.M concert coming to our town, I couldn’t wait to get my daughter all decked out in her JoJo gear! We found the perfect rainbow sequin outfit, but had the hardest time finding JoJo shoes that matched it perfectly. When I found the OhMyPoshCollection shop on Etsy I knew I needed to reach out! The owner, Daniella, had a ton of five star reviews and her listings were absolutely fabulous! I contacted Daniella about creating some custom JoJo themed shoes to match our outfit, and she was more than happy to help me out! To start, Daniella sent me a sizing guide to ensure that we ordered the perfect size. I am so glad she did that, as my daughter usually wears a size 11 but the authentic Converse brand seemed to run a 1/2 size small. Once she ordered and received the shoes, she immediately got to work! I sent her an image of my daughter’s complete outfit, and she was able to match it perfectly!
She created the most adorable pink converse high tops (which any fan knows that high tops are a JoJo Siwa signature look) with rainbow sequins, blue and yellow shoe strings, and cartoon JoJo cutouts! She actually sent images of two different JoJo designs (real-life JoJo images and cartoon JoJo images) but the cartoon design matched my daughter’s shirt so perfectly that I couldn’t pass it up! From start to finish I felt like I was part of the design process and loved that she reached out often to ensure that everything was exactly how I had pictured! From start to finish, the process took a little over a week! In my opinion this is an exceptional turnaround for such detailed custom work. When the shoes arrived, I couldn’t wait to show my daughter! They matched her outfit perfectly and I was 100% satisfied with the end result! The sequins were securely in place, the ribbon glitter didn’t rub off easily, and the JoJo cartoon cutouts were perfectly placed! Of course my daughter freaked out when she seen them and begged to wear them immediately!
Not only did the end result pass my expectations, but Daniella’s customer service and response time truly excelled. She took the time to learn exactly what we were looking for, and made sure that nothing left her hands without being absolutely perfect! We have several events coming up, and I plan on purchasing myself a pair, as well as my daughter a second pair. I know I will be just as satisfied with Daniella’s work as we are now!
